Daglish Sacked From Post At Liverpool

Eighth in the Premier League and a Carling Cup not good enough for the Merseyside club Kenny Daglish was sacked as manager of Liverpool FC just hours after returning from America after a review of the season meet with club owners John W Henry and Tom Werner. Dalglish’s dismissal follows the departure of director of football Damien Comolli and the club’s head of sports medicine Peter Brukner in April with Steve Clarke also resigning today in a show of solidarity with his boss.
