Juan Mata Says farewell to Valencia.
New Chelsea striker Juan Mata held a press conference Tuesday in the city of Valencia to say goodbye to his club,City and teammates, in a very emotional appearance he said,
“I hope to see Valencia in the final of the Champions League.”

Valencia coach Emery said in the presence of a group of players formed by Paul Aduriz Soldier, Guaita, DeAlba and Bruno, plus Ochotorena and Voro, ”The club wish him well, we will meet our goals,”
The striker emotionally said ”I do not know where to start and I can not put into words everything that I have lived for four seasons.” “I have cried but I have a sense of excitement and grief.”
Mata went on to say “I have infinite gratitude to all of Valenciana”. To all the people who have lived together for four years, I thank the club for trusting me when I was only 19 years of age.”
Why he left
The player explained how his departure from Valencia CF happened.
“I rejected most offers that came in for me but for economic and footballing reasons it was important when the offer from Chelsea came, and I told the president, Manuel Llorente, that I would listen to the offer.
My departure is sad and I am sorry to leave, but it has a good return for the club and it is an important step in my growth as a footballer.”
