Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm does not believe Borussia Monchengladbach or Schalke can mount serious title challenges.

Lucien Favre’s ‘Gladbach beat the Bavarians 3-1 on Friday to go just one point behind Jupp Heynckes’ men, while Schalke’s victory over Stuttgart saw them go join Bayern and Dortmund at the topo of the Bundesliga.

However, Lahm is not worried by the title bids from the two North Rhine-Westphalian clubs, and perceives defending champions Dortmund as the most realistic threat to his side taking back the Bundesliga title.

 

“If I’m honest, I don’t think Schalke or Gladbach will take it (the championship),” Lahm told Kicker. “Dortmund have made a more stable impression.” READ MORE HERE
